Professor Hervé Debar is dean for research at Telecom SudParis. His research activities cover protection, detection and mitigation of cyberthreats. He has published over 150 scientific papers on these topics, and is the author of over 10 patents. He is currently serving as editor of Computer Communications and International Journal of Information Security. He is an elected academic member of the ECSO (European Cyber-Security Organization) Partnership Board and the academic vice-president of the Digital Trust, Security and Defense working group of the (Systematic) cluster. He regularly acts as expert for the European Commission, Member States and scientific organizations.
